David J. Phifer currently lives in West Michigan. Very soon, when the undead rise, he will be searching for a condo in Atlanta, Georgia where he can tap into the dark dealings of the underworld without the threat of winter snow.
Ever since he made a deal with a crossroads demon, David has been bestowed with many artistic talents: he draws, writes, designs, and is a film producer. He is all about creation and storytelling and is building his author business as a means to create a studio to help other artists and writers realize and live their creative destiny.
He is currently writing the dark urban fantasy thrillers The Dark Forever(Maggie Walker series) and Memoirs of a Monster Killer(Solomon Ivy series) within the Forever People Paradox universe.
“To tell a story, you have to be able to see different sides of it from people with perspectives other than your own,” he says. “That’s much of the fun: Living from another’s point of view.”
Apparently, that applies to monsters too.

Welcome to my media page! This page is devoted to all kinds of urban fantasy goodness. From sketches of characters to character bios to monster hunter journals pages, you name it, this page will have it. I originally started my series off as a comic. Below are pages I created. I abandoned the project for more fruitful ventures, but the pages are still cool. The images below enlarge when you click on them. I didn’t continue with the comic version, but it gave me my favorite novel character, Solomon Ivy!
The first first pages are the intro to the comic story, with Detective John Stone, Ivy’s friend on the police force. The bottom batch of 6 is called The Hunt. Ivy tortures Lorelei for information in the pursuit for his son. Tied to a chair, she jumps out the window and over a large cliff. The scene takes place as she wakes up as her body repairs itself. But she is Ivy’s prey. And there is no escape.
Ivy is the main character in the second novel series called Killing Forever. The third series has Lorelei as the main character. I may put this scene in, we’ll see.
