Hello, good people. I’m not sure what these blogs will be about quite yet, other than my journey as an author. I’m sure it will be quite a few posts before anyone cares about my journey, but when someone does, these entries will be here for their entertainment. It’s my goal to have 10 books done by March 31, 2019. 5 books from Maggie Walker’s series(The Dark Forever) and 5 from monster hunter Solomon Ivy’s series(Killing Forever). With a full time job, it has proven to be quite the challenge. But that’s where the excitement is, isn’t it?
I don’t see this as just an author business, and I’m not treating it like that either. It’s a media company. And I’m a media boss:0) I’ll be creating video trailers, infographics, character sketches, and all kinds of other cool stuff to promote the intellectual property. I know I LOVE that kind of stuff, I hope others will too.
I also will be getting feedback from the fans, especially on direction the series will go. I have a lot of characters within the series I’d love to create a series for, but that will depend on how much you guys like that character. If you like the necromancer Serena more than the monster hunter Augie that I’ll create a series for her instead of him. So I’ll be looking to my readers to direct the future of this series. Much like Marvel movies does, I want to please my fans. I want to have a blast. And I am.
This month, I’ll be making a prop gun for the monster hunter called a Howdah Pistol(an antique pistol with four barrels) and possibly making a Gatling gun, which he’ll have in some posters. I’ll be shooting the model for the series beginning of February. In time, I’ll create digitally painted posters for the characters as well as group posters. Tons of fun to be had in this supernatural world. Thank you for joining me in it.:0)
